Busy month ends with fifth place at Jeremy McIntyre Team Race

Final Results

VALLEJO, Calif. – A busy month that includes four regattas in as many weekends concluded at the Jeremy McIntyre Team Race when Cal Maritime finished fifth in this Stnford-hosted regatta the Arrillaga Family Rowing and Sailing Center in Redwood City, California.

Nick Mueller, Kaden Miller and Tate Oyler skippered boats manned by Nicolai Perez, Indigo Craig and Oscar Perry; combined, the Keelhaulers won 11 out of 18 races.

Opening-round victories took place against Cal, Kings Point, Northwestern, Cal Poly, UC Santa Cruz and USC with repeated results earned against those same teams, with the exception of the Trojans, in Round 2.

Off this week, Cal Maritime will return to Southern California for its next event, the annual Port of Los Angeles Harbor Cup, co-hosted by the Los Angeles Yacht Club and Cal Maritime Athletics.  This three-day, 10-race keelboat event will begin in San Pedro, California, on Friday, March 6.
