2024-25: Member of the crew that helped the Keelhaulers win their second-consecutive Mustang Open Team Race (2/1-2) title and end the weekend as the only school with an undefeated head-to-head record.

Personal: Hails from Honolulu… Graduate from the Mid-Pacific Institute (Manoa) in 2024… Also competed for Windclub Hawai’i… Marine transportation major… Competed in Olympic Development Program regattas across the country, as well as internationally throughout his high school career… Chose Cal Maritime because he always loved the ocean and wanted to continue to follow his passion… Favorite memory as a student-athlete involved traveling to regattas and reminiscing with teammates afterwards… Favorite aspect of the Cal Maritime student experience involved cruise aboard the Golden Bear… Enjoys surfing… Plans to work on tankers or container ships after he earns his degree… Parents are his hero because of how hard they work… Roots for John Florence.
