VALLEJO, Calif. – A 10-regatta fall slate starts Friday in Redwood City when Cal Maritime competes against their Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference foes at the Men's and Women's Singlehanded Championship.
Stanford will host both competitions, spanning two days each, at the Arrillaga Family Rowing and Sailing Center.
The men's event will feature two teams from Cal Maritime, UC San Diego and Hawai'i and a single entry from Cal Poly and Stanford.
On the women's side, Hawai'i has three entries, UC San Diego enters the weekend with two, with Cal Maritime, Cal, Stanford and Washington fielding one entry apiece.
A one-week hiatus awaits the Keelhaulers since their next competition is set for October 4-5 at the PCCSC Richard Sweet Match Race Championship — the first of two San Diego-based regattas in as many weekends.
