VALLEJO, Calif. – A 133-day hiatus for Cal Maritime's men's golf team will end on Tuesday when the Keelhaulers take the first tee at Angeles National Golf Club in Sunland, California, for the Sea Beggar Invitational — their inaugural tournament of 2025. 

Also competing in this 36-hole two-day competition, besides CSUM and the host school, are Hope International, Park Gilbert, Simpson University and Southern Oregon.

Simpson is a team the Keelhaulers will become familiar with this semester because on men's golf's 2025 schedule is the Simpson University Invite (March 24-25), hosted by the Red Hawks.

Following that tournament is the CSUM-hosted Cal Pac Showcase (March 31-April 2), a competition featuring all of the California Pacific Conference's men's and women's teams and the Cal Pac / Frontier Men's Golf Championship (April 14-16).

The Sea Beggar Invitational is the first of two tournaments featuring Cal Maritime because it will head to Carmel, California, for next week's PCH Spring Invitational, hosted by Menlo and the 18th and 19th.
