VALLEJO, Calif. – Only one game remains on women's soccer's schedule, and it is a big one with rival Pacific Union visiting Bodnar Field on Halloween —a treat, not a trick, for women's soccer fans. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
Earlier this year, the Pioneers downed the Keelhaulers in the first head-to-head meeting of the year. Not only would the right result even the series for the season, it will provide the perfect ending for two of the team's seniors, Leeza Bremermann and Amanda Carvalho, who will don a Cal Maritime uniform for the final time in their respective careers.
Friday's home game marks the first event on campus since October 5 when the team hosted Stanton in the inaugural Cal Pac matchup between the programs.
Even though the Keelhaulers are coming off a tough weekend in Southern California, Pacific Union is as well since they also traveled to Southern California last weekend and suffered the same result, a pair of losses, against Stanton and Westcliff.
