Women's soccer falls to Bear Cubs in season opener

VALLEJO, Calif. – The Keelhaulers opened their 2025 season at Bodnar Field when they hosted Santa Rosa Junior College at Bodnar Field. Ciara Kelly converted a penalty kick in the 37th minute as the Bear Cubs defeated the Keelhaulers, 8-1.

Kelly's tally was the lone shot of the day for the Keelhaulers. Leeza Bremerman had 17 saves for Keelhaulers.

The next match for the Keelhaulers is September 6th when they host NCAA Division-II opponent Jessup University at Bodnar Field. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m.
