Bronco Invite provides final pre-Cal Pac Championship tune-up

VALLEJO, Calif. – With both cross country teams improving as the season progresses, the final opportunity to prepare for the Cal Pac Cross Country Championship will take place on Saturday in Sunnyvale when the Keelhaulers compete against a field of teams from various NCAA levels at the Bronco Invitational, hosted by Santa Clara.

The men's 8k invite will begin at 8:45 a.m. with the women tackling the 6k course at Baylands Regional Park at 9:30 a.m.

As was the case at last weekend's SF State Invite, this is the first appearance in recorded program history for both teams at this meet.

Once everyone returns to campus on Saturday, the Keelhaulers will have just over two weeks to train and arrive to the Cal Pac Championships in peak condition since the league's year-end postseason event is slated for October 30 at Woodward Park in Fresno, California
