CSUM's spring season continues with sevens competition

VALLEJO, Calif. - Cal Maritime's men's rugby team will continue its spring season by shifting its focus from 15s competition, to 7s games and tournaments for the rest of the semester.

"We decided to end our 15s season a week early and focus on the second part of our season," said Grayden Gunner, the team's student assistant coach. 

"Most people think our season is over when we stop playing 15s games. But that is not the case, we just begin prepping for the second portion of the season, even though 7s compete as a true club team."

Gunner and the program is currently finalizing the Keelhaulers' upcoming spring schedule, the program will announce all details regarding tournament information, games time and locations on its Instagram page (@calmaritimerugby) once finalized.
