Renee Corpuz-Lahne grew up sailing out of King Harbor Yacht Club in Southern California and traveled around the globe, starting as a youth sailor to a college national champion with Hawai'i's sailing team.

Corpuz-Lahne runs multiple youth sailing programs and coached many youth racing and high school teams.

Her support of sailing crossed borders and fostered friendships; she possesses a unique approach to creating valuable learning environments and coaching expertise beyond the goal of winning races.

Corpuz-Lahne joins Head Sailing Coach Kerry Deaver in leading Cal Maritime's sailing program for the 2025-26 academic year.
